SkyTech Blaze II Gaming Computer PC Desktop – Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 TI 6G, 500G SSD, 8GB DDR4, RGB, AC WiFi, Windows 10 Home 64-bit
The Skytech Blaze II is a custom mid-tower gaming PC with a fan and head-turning design fitted with a blingy case and LED lights. If you want to go the extra mile, Skytech offers custom designs and hardline liquid-cooling on models such as the Skytech Shiva and Skytech Legacy II, respectively. Our review unit is not so equipped, but it helps to keep its price within the realm of reality. (At least for what you say, for the relative components of the construction, it provides the actual value).
The tip-top hardware in our analyzer incorporates AMD’s Ryzen 6 2600 six-center processor chip and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card, making it an ideal stage for 1080p gaming. Coupled with a spacious, well-cooled case and available RGB lighting, this latest iteration of the Skytech Blaze sets a high standard for entry-level rigs that will be challenged to the top even if you go the DIY route.

Design
The Blaze II’s mATX tempered glass gaming case is intended in-house by Skytech. Minus glass, curved front panel, it is made of steel and looks straight. It sports a straight-edged design that gives it a proper, if attractive, feel. The Blaze’s 19.6 11.4 by 18.5-inch (HWD) measurements are run of the mill for a mid-tower. If you look around, you can easily get a similar-looking chassis if you want to build one of your own.
The front is sleek with a diamond tip heading over the top, and curves directly to the lower panel with a pair of RGB LED rings. Moving the tempered-glass side panel to the left does a good job of showing RGB-littered internals in this review unit. The panel opens to the side and hinges at the back. I like the fact that two thumb screws have retainers, so you don’t need to remove them completely (and possibly get lost).
On the inside, the cable work is clean, with no stray wires. Maybe the only visible wires are the motherboard and CPU power connectors. The port selection along the front edge includes a separate and microphone jack, a USB 3.1 port, and a pair of USB 2.0 ports. At the rear are four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, PS / 2 ports for older mice, HMDI, DVI, and VGA ports.
It does not include a USB Type-C port, but you have additional HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort connectors on the GTX 1660 Ti graphics card. You don’t get a screen with this PC, however, you can get it as a combo that incorporates a 24-inch Sersepter C248W-1920RN, yet you get a free RGB gaming keyboard and mouse in the package.
Performance
Skytech gives you distinctive model arrangements to browse contingent upon your spending plan and needs. Our review model is a mid-level configuration, powered by an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 processor, 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD, and a dedicated Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics, which should have acceptable performance for most Triple-A titles such as Fortnite. This is slightly lower than the capabilities of the mid-Skytech Shiva that we reviewed recently.
The priceless prefabricated model in the series is the Skytech Omega, which packs an Intel Core i9-9900K processor, Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 TI, 1TB SSD, and 16GB of RAM. It runs at stock speeds, however, the SkyTech Blaze II is ready for true efficiency and substance creation work processes. When not playing, you can use it for media editing, MS Office tasks, and pretty much everything you want to do on a mainstream desktop PC.
Gaming Performance
The productivity capabilities above are helpful in measuring general processor competence, but full retail video games are hard to beat to identify the machine’s gaming credentials. Far Cry 5 and Tomb Raider’s Shadow, both are modern AAA, high-fidelity titles that can be used to describe how the system fares on real-world video games at various settings. These two games run on maximum graphics-quality presets – Ultra for Far Cry 5 and Very High for Shamb of Tomb Raider, played at 1080p, 1440p, 4K resolution.
All these tests are for identifying the sweet spot of visual and sweet playability for any system, the results of which are given in frames per second. The various presets are based on the fact that Far Cry 5 is DirectX 11-based, while Shamb of the Tomb Raider can be run on the DX12.
In our case, targeting a system in this price range means that you most likely play at full HD (1.0920 1,080) resolution. Again, not only are 1440p or 4K monitors more expensive but there is a GPU that will run the game smoothly at those resolutions. In this means, our ideal target is 60fps and therefore the Blaze II simply clears that strip with space for a lot of loud moments throughout gameplay.
In real-world gaming, Far Cry 5 gives an impressive score in ultra quality (93 fps – 1080p; 67 fps – 1440 p) and the same on the shadow of a tomb raider played in ultra quality (66.1 fps – 1080p; 35.6 fps). Is repeated; 1440 p). Overall, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 1080p is a good GPU for gaming, not giving you too much or too little.
If your monitor refreshes beyond 60 Hz – might as well consider both Scepter (C248B-144RN) or MSI Optix MAG24C with a 144Hz refresh rate; 1660 Tiwari’s extra juice is the way to go. This GPU replaces last year’s GTX 1060, meaning that it is VR-Ready, so it can run your virtual reality headset (HTC Vive or Oculus Rift) easily. As you can see, 1440p is a lot of tax (unless you’re 30fps fine), and I wouldn’t recommend 4K on this machine.

Conclusion
Skytech easily accomplishes what it sets out to do with the new Blaze II: providing a professionally-built platform for enthusiast gaming. Pre-made models are reviewed by us, which is reasonable compared to going the DIY (do-it-yourself) route and assembling yourself from parts. It is hard to imagine anyone doing a fantastic wiring job, and the hardware selection in our review unit is just over the top. Other highlights in the Blaze II include good cooling and a spacious design that looks very pretty for the price and is highly priced when ordered and upgraded later. If you’re a semi-pro gamer, however not a performance hound, or just out to the desktop to play the foremost well-liked AAA games for your kids while not a fuss, this is a great pick.
That said, the iBUYPOWER Element 9260 offers better performance around the same price. It boasts a much faster 9th generation Core i7-9700F processor, a single Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti, more RAM (16GB), and plenty of storage (240GB SSD + 1TB HDD) in a fast custom chassis. is. This makes for a recommended alternative to the Skytech Blaze II, maintaining our Editors’ Choice for the category.
